How we compared
We read each app’s Shopify App Store listing on 2026-10-18 and took plans and prices from it. A ✓ needs the listing’s own description, plan list or feature tags to name the feature. We know Discount Genie first-hand because we build it. We left out star ratings.
We left out BOLD Discounts – Flash Sales, which other 2026 lists still recommend: its App Store page says “This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store.”

What is the best free discount app for Shopify?
It depends on the limit you can live with. Discount Genie’s free plan covers 3 basic discounts plus promo-code rejection rules. Discounty’s covers 10 discounted variants and 3 campaigns, Discount Mix’s 3 campaigns and 300 variants, and Rockit’s 50 variants. BOGOS’s free plan stops after 30 orders, AIOD’s after the app drives $500 of sales, and Easy Bundles’ covers $500 of bundle sales a month. Kaching Bundles and Wholesale Pricing Discount have no free plan.
What’s the best Shopify BOGO or free-gift app?
BOGOS, which adds free gifts to the cart automatically or by pop-up. Discount Genie, Discounty, Discount Mix, AIOD, Kaching Bundles and Easy Bundles also list Buy X Get Y or gifts.
Can I stop customers from stacking discount codes?
Discount Genie’s rejection rules block all promo codes, or the codes whose title matches a rule, and show your own message at checkout. We did not find code-rejection rules on the other 8 listings, though that does not prove they lack them.
Which app is best if I run lots of promo codes?
If you run lots of promo codes for influencers, affiliates or email, pick Discount Genie. Its listing names a bulk unique-code generator, promo code rejection rules and Klaviyo coupon sync. Discount Mix and AIOD also list bulk codes, but not code rules or Klaviyo sync.
